Social Media Manager

You can discover more about this project by having a look at the website and the social media channels. You can also discover the two press releases that I created as well as a summary of their first operation and a business report that I helped create.

I started being in charge of content creation for Facebook. Then, I got involved more and took charge of Instagram too. I was in charge of creating the schedule, doing some content research and creating the content and putting it on ClickR for approval. We had weekly meetings to discuss new ideas, new events and the news within the charity that needed to be promoted on social media. I also worked on PR for a bit, creating press releases and contacting media through an existing distribution list that I enriched.

Through this experience, I got to learn how a big charity really functions, the whole organization and behind the scenes process. I also learned teamwork and leadership, through the communication agency I worked with at the start and then through the responsibility of leading the social media strategy and tasks when the collaboration with the agency ended. As said before, I also learned a lot about ecology and the interest definitely stuck with me since. I am very proud to be a part of this charity that is doing its best to make changes in environmental transition and is succeeding.

I was in charge of the whole social media content strategy. I built the brand image for Instagram and Facebook. I worked on social media content and was in charge of finding new creative content ideas. I also contributed to different press releases for the charity’s big successes.

Key Achievements

The charity Lobby des Consciences (LDC) was starting its first project when I joined them in 2021. Created by Stéphane and Nicolas, the charity aims to accelerate the ecological transition by raising public awareness and by creating queries with the help of experts for political and economic decision-makers. I started working with LDC at the end of 2021, after finishing my apprenticeship. I wanted to get more involved and act for the planet in my own way. When I found out about this charity, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to act for the planet and work in my field at the same time. At the start, the communication strategy was handled by a communication agency in Paris. I joined the project and started right away with a focus on Instagram and Facebook posts. What I loved about this project was doing research for content creation in this subject. I got to learn so much about ecological concepts and initiatives. Being able to promote companies, charities, books, movies, etc... about ecology was definitely the highlight for me. Moreover, I had the chance to cross paths through online meetings with experts in ecological transition and climate issues, such as François Gemenne, lead author of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) but also public figures who accepted to be ambassadors, such as Anne-Sophie Pic (three-star chef) or even Jamy Gourmaud (presenter and journalist)...
