Web Content SEO Writer
Through this experience, I got to learn a lot about writing quality content, in terms of SEO and web writing techniques. I also got to proofread and use WordPress myself for articles from the other volunteers of the charity. For two years, I wrote one article per month and proof-read and posted 2 to 4 articles per month. To this day, I am still a volunteer for them and help them when I have the time. You can find attached all the articles that I wrote as well as my reference letter for the time spent with CECF.
I got to learn a lot about SEO content writing techniques by writing monthly and having feedbacks on my work. I also learned to proofread and publish other volunteer’s work with the WordPress tool.
Key Achievements
The charity CECF (Construisons Ensemble Comment Faire) started in 2007, with multiple goals. Firstly, it aims to convey the importance of handicraft activities such as carpentry or gardening, and give everyone the opportunity to learn them. It also aims to help fund humanitarian actions, in France and abroad. I started working with CECF in 2020 when I heard about their actions and wanted to participate in my own way. What I really liked in the charity's blog is the focus on positive measures. The themes of the articles are always about new initiatives to make the world a better place, things that make you want to smile and share. In the world we live in, I thought it was important to be able to bring some good vibes and learn about companies, people, charities, etc... that are trying to help in their own ways.
