Communication, Marketing & Content Manager

You can discover more about this project by having a look at the different documents I worked on, the website of Juvigo and the social media channels I manage:

I started working with Juvigo in February 2022, with a focus on SEO. Even though the market was already present for 2 whole years, nobody really took time to work on SEO for the country and there was a huge possibility for growth. I got offered another contract in September with more responsibilities after the first one, with a focus on 4 main projects.

I started working with Juvigo in February 2022, with a focus on SEO. Even though the market was already present for 2 whole years, nobody really took time to work on the SEO for the country and there was a huge possibility of growth. I got offered another contract in September with more responsibilities after the first one, with a focus on 4 main projects.

My first project was related to SEO. The point was to keep working on content SEO, building landing pages for the website in order to create more traffic, do some keyword research to focus on a long-tail keyword strategy to build a gap with our competitors, writing SEO content to keep growing the website's content. I am also in charge of recruiting, managing and invoicing freelancers that help us spontaneously with writing content depending on our needs. To help me with this task, I regularly use Ubersuggest, Seobility, Google Search Console and Analytics. We also have bimonthly SEO roundtables where we talk about our progress and also new practices and trends related to SEO to keep learning about this wide subject.

I also got included in an additional project in developing the SEO strategy for our new market in Wallony. I got to start the whole keyword research and helped building the website and landing pages as well the content. The project started in September and in January we already have a commission of 1000 euros and are very excited for the high season awaiting. SEO

The second one was creating the online magazine from scratch. I had to build it using WordPress, with the help of the IT department for more technical parts of the creation. My main task at first was to create all of the content for the magazine's website, to construct its skeleton. After the start up of the site, I had to work on content. I started doing keyword research to find topics related to summer camp, holiday camps, language camps and everything relevant to our market. I wrote the articles focusing on SEO and formatted them on the WordPress tool with Yoast.

On top of writing articles about advices and tips for holiday camps, I got in touch with our partners in France to get interviews from them. The point was to put forward their hard work organizing camps and disclose the whole coordination behind it, helping parents being afraid of leaving their kids to strangers to get to know them personally. I also started interviewing tourism experts and our own experts in the company itself. I am regularly keeping in touch with organizers and tourism experts to keep growing the content on our website. I also created a part for future partners, with articles describing the advantages to join us, the process of it, and with a part for most frequent questions.

There are also bimonthly meetings to discuss new article ideas and content creation in general, as well as a monthly roundtable to have a look at the number of articles and interviews written, page views and sessions on the magazine's website.

Magazine

The third project was building a social media strategy for the french market. The accounts were already existing on Facebook and Instagram but inactive. I first got to focus on a strategy for France with the help of the social media managers of DACH and their input on their own market. I am currently managing the Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube channels for France. I am also in charge of an intern who helps with content ideas and creation for our channels. I am managing her training and I introduce her to my role and all the tasks I'm responsible for. I use different apps and websites for content creation, like Canva, Clideo, kapwings, as well as Capcut for trends on TikTok mostly. We use Hootsuite and also Flick for content planning and organization.

We have bimonthly roundtables to discuss data, using Meta Business data, Flick, Instrack and other metrics. In this roundtable, we have a look at conversion, engagement, reach rates, as well as CTR, new followers, profile views on all of our channels, keeping a close eye on the progress and making adjustments to our strategy depending on it. I also started working on a content creation workshop for our current partners.

Most of our partners being inactive on social media or not aware of how it works properly, I decided to write an article about content creation and social media best practices and I have been building a workshop, offering them personal advice depending on their activity and locations. I have also been working on a newsletter related to Christmas, New Year and giveaways with Sendinblue.

Social Media

The last one was developing press relations and finding clippings. I started in December with the DACH PR manager and got an introduction Press Relations for a big company. That was my first time with the help of a professional and experienced colleague, having worked in PR more autonomously before. I started working on a distribution list, focusing on the travel industry in France, youth travel articles and also startup and innovation articles to find interviews for our founder.

I got in touch with a big media in France about travel which is called Infotravel, which is currently writing an article about our company. I also build relations with a few different local and national newspapers, like Ouest France for example, that are working on a local piece, interviewing me and my colleagues coming from those regions in France and being working in Europe now in an international company, with a focus on Juvigo and its offer. Those are works in progress that I will publish here when it's available.

I have also been in touch with different podcasts creators, related to startups and traveling in general, to get a podcast for our founder. You can find above the podcast I helped building with my CEO, Björn Viergutz, and UNOSEL, an organization specialized in holiday camps. I got in touch with the organization and had the opportunity to work on the questions for the final version of the podcast. I'm also working on a distribution list based on french based in Berlin, to gain some visibility as an international company and french expats. On top of clippings, I have been building a media kit for France, as well as several press releases since the market started, you can find all of this on the magazine's website.

Like the other projects, we have a monthly roundtable to see the progress in the clippings and discuss possible ideas or press-related matters.

Press Relations

Through this experience, I gained self-confidence, thanks to the opportunity of being fully responsible of all of those projects and managing them independently for the whole market. It helped me gained management and leadership skills, with the opportunity to also manage interns and freelancers to help me in my tasks and help them learn about the communication tasks in general. I also gained confidence in my ability to work in an international environment, having all of our meetings, practices and discussions in English. Every colleague I work with on those projects are international and it helped me gaining proficiency in business English. I also got to learn and I keep learning about different topics in communication thanks to our regular roundtables and experienced colleagues I work with. I also have a voice and the ability to bring new ideas and projects constantly to help our market grow, like the offer of a social media strategy workshop for our partners. Like the other projects, we have a monthly roundtable to see the progress in the clippings and discuss possible ideas or press-related matters.

Key Achievements

The company Juvigo was founded in 2015 in Berlin, with the aspiration of being the biggest summer camp offer in the country. The principle is easy, Juvigo find camp organizers locally, offer them more visibility with our online platform and in exchange takes a commission with every booking made directly through us. The goal was to create markets a bit everywhere in Europe after being locally present in Germany, and that's how the adventure started for France in 2020. Currently, Juvigo is present in the Netherlands, Belgium (French and Dutch),Italy, Portugal, Spain, on top of France and Germany, the two biggest markets.
