Events Volunteer
I started working with ESN in 2015 because I wanted to be involved in a student organization and was really interested in international relations myself (pursuing a Foreign Applied Languages bachelor at the time , and thinking about doing an Erasmus exchange semester). My main tasks were to help organize events for the international students (logistics, communication on social media, organization during the event...) and finding new ideas to help welcome them in their new city.
I organized different events (from scratch), finding venues, themes, logistics of organization, budget, promotion on social media channels…
Key Achievements
The charity ESN (Erasmus Student Network) is a student project that was created in 2011. Its creation started after a student doing an intersnhip in international relations realized that there was no organization to help welcoming international students in the city of La Rochelle. Through this experience, I got to meet a lot of amazing people from all over the world and I really got to enjoy event organization and taking care of social media.
